Here I am at the Reading WW II Weekend in June 2026 with my reenactor group.

This annual event is held the first weekend in June at the Reading Regional Airport in Reading PA. It is one of the largest WW II reenactor encampments in the United States.

I made two contacts with my BC-611, both were with Mark WW2RDO who was also running a BC-611 on the field.

The Bantam T3 trailer under the wing of my friend's L-2 is mine.

This web page is primarily for my use while restoring some BC-611s. Use at your own risk.

Towards the end are photos of test connections for testing a removed chassis.

It is critical you have a GOOD copy of TM 11-4019 'Radio Receivers and Transmitters BC-611A,B,C,D,E,and F Repair Instructions'.

All BC-611s are not created equal; make sure you know what chassis you have. Warning -- it may NOT be the one indicated on the case!
